Your Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on the Astrological Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement across the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions before the title's launch, to trainers forming firm opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was almost chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why Aries much more similar to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of either and enjoy a powerful partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has aided many players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed passion for treats. Several past official descriptions note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it uses its horn to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, offering an constant fountain of chatter to those who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which seems quite similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its ability to create a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose gams just went viral for being too glamorous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is clearly reflected across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it became sentient through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting presence is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
